Review

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

From the moment mystery writer Mel Harris invites rival Ted Shackelford to join in her perfect murder game, it's inevitable that someone close to them will wind up dead. But this cable movie plays its cards so close to its chest that even the keenest-eyed armchair detective will be hard-pressed to spot all the clues. Initially developing the romance between the two authors, director Michael Katleman cleverly exploits the conventions of the whodunnit to gradually build up the suspense. With solid support from Kim Coates, Colm Feore and Peggy Lipton, this well-crafted thriller might just surprise you.
