Yoga Hosers

Yoga Hosers is a cartoony horror comedy from writer/director Kevin Smith, who admits that it is a deeply silly film. The title refers to Colleen C (Lily-Rose Melody Depp, daughter of Johnny) and Colleen M (Harley Quinn Smith, daughter of Kevin), two 15-year-old schoolgirls who reluctantly work at a convenience store. One night, they are attacked by a small army of tiny, murderous sausage men who look like Adolf Hitler. After disposing of them, the girls team up with a legendary manhunter (Johnny Depp), and they uncover a conspiracy that involves a long-lost Canadian Nazi. All of this is supposed to be ridiculous, of course, but there's no excuse for the film's lack of quality, as most of it feels surprisingly lazy and amateurish. While Depp and Smith show promise as the titular heroines, Yoga Hosers is a chore to sit through. To quote Colleen C, it is beyond basic.
