Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Director Richard Kletter plumbs new depths of slow-moving mediocrity in bringing his short story - co-written with sci-fi legend Isaac Asimov - to the screen. In a depressingly predictable futuristic tale, gorgeous robotics expert Harley Jane Kozak falls in love with an android called Teach 905 (played by Griffin Dunne) under the watchful eye of evil professor Ossie Davis and his assistant Saul Rubinek (wearing a ludicrous wig). Don't blame the members of the cast, though, who gamely struggle with the lacklustre script, but tedium wins out in the end.
