Summary
During the final days of the 1997 election campaign, Labour candidate Bertie Oldcross is out campaigning with his manager Simon when they are involved in the death of a local man. Reporting the incident would be political suicide, so they decide to cover it up in the hope of fulfilling their political ambitions.
