Summary
In 1999, 22-year-old derivatives trader Michael Matthews became the youngest Briton to reach the summit of Mount Everest. He died on the descend but his body was never found. Michael's brother, television personality and entrepreneur Spencer Matthews, was 10-years-old when his sibling was reported missing on the highest peak in Himalayas. In this feature-length documentary directed by Tom Beard and executive produced by Bear Grylls, Spencer travels to Everest with Nepal-born mountain Nirmal Purja MBE to locate and recover Michael's body and return it to the UK. Battling the same ferocious elements as his brother more than 20 years later, Spencer seeks answers to painful questions that have haunted his family for decades.
