Summary
After an unknown plague has spread over the world, the few healthy people left are forced to live inside the forest. Alexander is immune, and he's living alone trying to survive from his past and from what he has lost. One day he saves a young girl, Penelope, afflicted by the plague. He'll decide to help her going to the Sanctuary, which she believes is the only safe place for people like her.
