Thriller starring Jeff Fahey, Yancy Butler and James Coburn. Professional hitman Charlie Pike never mixes business with pleasure, but he makes an exception when his boss asks him to protect Jordan Henning from her late husband's business partners.
Not the Jan-Michael Vincent action tale, but yet another straight-to-video outing for Jeff Fahey. This time he's a top assassin (is there any other kind?) in the pay of lawyer James Coburn, the spearhead of an anti-drugs campaign. However, Fahey's devotion to duty goes to the wall when he falls for his latest client Yancy Butler, who wants him to rub out the man who killed her husband. This is one of those thrillers where no one is what they seem and plot contrivance is obligatory. The action fizzes along, but Reed Steiner's script and William Webb's direction lack conviction.
