Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

This Mission Impossible-style adventure sees Lloyd Bridges hired to liberate a professor and his daughter from the clutches of a Latin American dictator. This mission, shot in Florida, involves skydiving as well as scuba diving. The director, Laslo Benedek, had his brief moment in the early 1950s with Death of a Salesman and The Wild One but here he's just a journeyman controlled by producer Ivan Tors who had a wildlife park called Africa, USA. Tors was primarily a TV producer and regarded Daring Game as a pilot for a new TV show like Sea Hunt, his own underwater series with Bridges.
