Summary
Portmanteau drama starring Demi Moore, Sissy Spacek and Cher. A widow seeking comfort from the tragedy of losing her husband in the Korean War finds herself pregnant with her brother-in-law's child and undergoes a terrifying experience at the hands of an illegal abortionist. In the 1970s, a 40-year-old mother's discovery that she is pregnant forces her to battle with her conscience as to whether to have another child or have an abortion. In the 1990s, a student becomes involved in a horrific confrontation when she undergoes a termination at a clinic picketed by anti-abortionists.
