Carter Jenkins stars here as teenage techno-geek Tom, who discovers cute but ruthless space creatures are using his family's holiday home as a base for an alien invasion. Having mocked him for being a "mathlete", Tom's siblings and cousins soon realise that his ingenuity and computer skills may be the only thing standing between them and the destruction of the Earth. They band together to foil the visitors' plans, while their parents and grandmother remain oblivious to the mayhem surrounding them. Conceived and co-written by Brit Mark Burton (Madagascar, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit), this is a thrilling children's yarn with enough pop-culture references to hold grown-ups' interest, while director John Schultz delivers a series of ingenious slapstick set pieces that echo both The Goonies and Home Alone.

A nerdy teenager spends the summer in a lake house with his family, where he finds an invasion force of tiny aliens lurking in the attic. The extraterrestrials plan to take over the world with a mind-controlling device - and since it only works on adults, it falls to the boy and his siblings to save the day. Children's sci-fi comedy, with Carter Jenkins and Austin Butler.
