The drunken millionaire sees his playboy lifestyle grind to a halt when a woman he scorned pulls strings to force him into bankruptcy. Review

Rating: 1 out of 5.

Seven years after that charming if one-joke movie Arthur, Dudley Moore mistakenly returned to the role of the drunken millionaire in this disastrous comedy sequel. After a financial takeover by the father of his former girlfriend, Arthur is left penniless and has to save his marriage to Linda (Liza Minnelli) and regain his fortune before the end credits. You know things are getting bad when John Gielgud (whose English valet died in part one) is resurrected as a ghost (well, the ploy worked for Alec Guinness in the Star Wars sequels). Believe it or not, things get even worse as the film moves towards its predictable happy ending. You have been warned.
