Poor old John Cusack. What's the star of The Grifters, Con Air and Grosse Pointe Blank doing in underwhelming straight-to-DVD guff like this? Well, to be fair, he's standing in for Ethan Hawke, who dropped out. Here, Cusack plays an undercover agent haunted by a botched mission, who's assigned to regain his mojo by guarding a programmer (Watchmen's Malin Akerman) at an isolated US base in the English countryside - the facility is where untraceable coded instructions are sent out to field agents. However, their survival is soon paramount when the duo comes under attack. But from whom, and can Cusack's agency man really be trusted? Cue lots of running around dimly lit corridors with little excitement to show for it. Cusack does tortured and morose as well as anyone, but when the film starts to harvest elements of the Bourne saga (including Ultimatum villain Joey Ansah), the game is up for this by-the-numbers washout.

A CIA agent under investigation following a disastrous mission is reassigned to protect a codebreaker working out of a top-secret base. When the installation comes under attack from an unknown enemy, they must discover how their whereabouts has been compromised and what the intruders' objective is. Action thriller, starring John Cusack and Malin Akerman.
