Review

Rating: 2 out of 5.

A snare too far and too late for this stalled action movie about a group of US marines trying to complete a vital mission on a Japanese-controlled island in the Philippines in 1944. Hugh O'Brian and Mickey Rooney at least look as though they mean it, but James Mitchum, son of Robert, gives a performance as lacklustre as that of the film.
