A superior slice of TV-movie suspense, which almost inevitably is based on true events. Joanna Kerns plays a victim recruited by the police to draw out a rapist/killer who has been stalking a quiet, respectable neighbourhood. The familiar faces in the cast include cop Dan Lauria, best known for his role in The Wonder Years, and Anthony John Denison, the baddie from Michael Mann's stylish cop series Crime Story. The performances are uniformly strong and director Larry Shaw orchestrates the action with confidence.

Summary

A woman is raped in her own home, but the police seem powerless to apprehend the attacker. As reports of further sexual assaults in her neighbourhood mount up, all seemingly the work of the same man, she resolves to turn detective and bring him to justice herself. Thriller based on a true story, starring Joanna Kerns, Anthony John Denison and Peter MacNeill.
