Review
Our Score
by

Charlie Sheen has proved to be more convincing sending up action heroes (namely in the
Hot Shots!
films) than playing them, and this uninspired adventure yarn is a perfect case in point. Sheen is the slightly crazy crack commando who, with colleagues such as Michael Biehn and Rick Rossovich, sets out to rid the world of baddies. Director Lewis Teague lets off the requisite number of explosions, but the script is riddled with clichés and Sheen is hardly a charismatic lead, while Joanne Whalley-Kilmer looks distinctly uncomfortable as the obligatory love interest.
