Five years had passed since the execrable
Police Academy 6
, but to mark the tenth anniversary of the series back came George Gaynes and his crew of cockeyed cops to prove once more the law of diminishing sequels. Christopher Lee can never have been in a more terrifying movie - terrifyingly bad, that is. Surely he had better things to do than play the Russian police chief who's unable to cope with computer crook Ron Perlman? There isn't a single joke worthy of the name in this humiliating farrago. Rarely have one and a half hours felt so like a life sentence.
Summary
Commandant Lassard sends the incompetent cops to Russia to help their counterparts capture an elusive criminal mastermind who uses his genius with computers to pull off a series of daring robberies. Comedy sequel, starring George Gaynes, Michael Winslow, David Graf, Leslie Easterbrook and Christopher Lee.
