Our Score
This fourth outing for Clint Eastwood's magnum enforcer, "Dirty" Harry Callahan - and the first directed by Clint himself - has the big man with the big gun hunting a woman who's systematically tracking down and assassinating the men who raped her and her sister. Sondra Locke, Eastwood's partner at the time, provides the love interest and forces the cop into a moral dilemma that makes him question the limitations of his role. It's more down and dirty than previous entries and won't disappoint series fans, even if the formula is starting to wear a little thin. Incidentally, this is the film in which Eastwood delivers his much quoted "Go ahead, make my day" quip.

Maverick detective `Dirty' Harry Callahan is sent to investigate a killing in a small town when his superiors tire of his no-holds barred approach to law enforcement. The case takes an unexpected turn with the discovery that the killer is a woman seeking revenge on the men who raped her and her sister 10 years previously. Crime thriller sequel, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. With Sondra Locke, Pat Hingle and Bradford Dillman.
