Our Score
There's nothing original - or even very convincing - about this predictable tale of a schoolgirl crush that turns nasty. But thanks to a juicy central performance and enjoyably exaggerated plotting, psycho teen Megan Park's increasingly desperate attempts to seduce her new maths teacher (former Baywatch hunk David Charvet) keep you watching. After quickly establishing her bunny-boiler credentials, whiney Park's stereotypical character gets as extreme as the TV-movie format will allow, while feeding her derangement in a torrent of lame daydream sequences that act as a distraction rather than entertainment. Bland Charvet's laughable naivety also stretches credulity to the limit, as he remains unaware of his pretty pupil's blatantly obvious feelings until the last third of the film. It's then that the thriller disappointingly implodes, wasting its twisted build-up with a rushed and ineffective finale.

She befriends his daughter as a way of worming her way into the family and sets about manipulating every aspect of his life, including driving away his girlfriend. As her mind games continue, her obsession leads to murder. Thriller, starring Megan Park and David Charvet.
