Review

Our Score
It's not very good, and the Sol Lesser production values are decidedly cheesy, but any movie proffering tiny Maria Ouspenskaya as the queen of the Amazons has camp appeal - if little else. This reintroduced Jane, in the lacklustre person of Brenda Joyce, with Johnny Sheffield on hand as Boy, so it's down to a tired Johnny Weissmuller to make this tosh bearable. Fun of sorts, though, for both youngsters and the most jaded palate, and certainly ecologically sound.

Summary

The vine-swinging hero knows he risks mortal danger at the hands of the man-hating Amazons who guard the jungle's gold store, but he is forced to seek their help to protect the precious hoard from treasure-seeking outsiders. Kurt Neumann's adventure, starring Johnny Weissmuller, Brenda Joyce and Henry Stephenson.
