Review

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Dean Martin's third Matt Helm romp takes him to Mexico to rescue a kidnapped pilot (Janice Rule) who has lost her flying saucer, a top-secret gizmo that's vital to western security. Albert Salmi plays the head villain, Kurt Kasznar is the comic cut-out henchman - he brews beer for a living - while enemy agent Senta Berger is the object of Martin's main romantic dalliance. The film is a mixture of James Bond-style gadgets, Martin's gimlet-eyed quips, studio sets and back-projected scenery, and the result is a very jaded movie indeed.
