Review

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Having dedicated 12 years of his life to making the wildlife documentary Land of the Leopard, it seems odd that African naturalist and film-maker John Varty should choose to add a fictional element to this sequel. Anyone who followed the endangered female cat around the Londolozi game reserve will be far more interested in the fate of her orphaned cubs, Little Boy and Little Girl, than in the Tinseltown subplot here involving producer Martin Sheen, film-maker Brooke Shields and her obstructive colleague David Keith. Unfortunately for the actors, the focus on the leopards makes the movie business seem all the more redundant.
