Our Score
This is one of the better blaxploitation thrillers directed by the frustratingly erratic Sidney J Furie (The Ipcress File). There are shades of French Connection II in the plotting, which finds lawman Billy Dee Williams taking on the Gallic gangsters that he blames for his daughter's death. However, this more than stands up in its own right, with Williams's compelling turn well supported by Richard Pryor. It's a touch overlong, but riveting nevertheless.

A federal agent employs and trains a gang of crooks to track down the Marseilles drug-dealers responsible for his daughter's death. Crime drama, starring Billy Dee Williams, Richard Pryor and Gwen Welles.
