Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

This man-versus-beast tale was an obvious attempt to jump on the Jaws bandwagon, but some of the scenes are just laughable. Richard Harris plays the macho hunter who incurs the wrath of a super-intelligent killer whale after he slaughters its pregnant mate. The glamorous presence of Charlotte Rampling and Bo Derek, plus some remarkable underwater photography, fail to make up for the daft narrative.
