Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

Apart from the majestic musical score by Miklos Rozsa, there's not much to recommend this archaeological adventure. Set in 1900, Robert Taylor is the rough, tough treasure hunter who's persuaded by old flame Eleanor Parker to go on an expedition to the ancient tombs of Egypt. Of course, feelings are rekindled but Parker is now married to Carlos Thompson. Into this romantic mix can be added a band of tomb robbers, including sinister Kurt (Land of the Giants) Kasznar, and some attractive locations but that's all there is to this tomb with a view.
