Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

If you've ever wanted to see Chekhov from Star Trek) swearing or locked in a steamy clinch, this is the film for you. There are several more equally silly moments in this lively sci-fi adventure, though since a few of them were clearly intended to be funny, it's hard to say just how serious a movie the film-makers were trying to make. Whatever the case, it must be admitted that the story - concerning astronauts Walter Koenig and Bruce Campbell searching the Moon for the remains of an ancient cybernetic civilisation - rattles along nicely, while the film actually boasts some pleasing special effects.
