Review

A star rating of 1 out of 5.

British director Francis Searle had the distinction of making only one bill-topping feature in his entire 27-film career, the daft comedy A Girl in a Million. The remainder of his output consisted of B-movies in every sense of the term, including this offering. Devotees of laughably bad low-budget crime movies should set their recorders for a tawdry little tale of ambition, murder and deceit, set in the apparently cut-throat world of the motor trade! Patrick Holt, himself the veteran of many a blushworthy B-picture, stars, while John Horsley - better known as Doc Morrissey in The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin - puts together the pieces in yet another of his dogged Scotland Yard support roles.
