Our Score
Jack Lemmon and Robert Mitchum play smuggling partners who fall out over Rita Hayworth in this corny and only vaguely watchable melodrama. Hayworth is on board Mitchum's ship, trying to get to the West Indies so she can get a passport, when the boat catches fire, creating much back-projected action. The film wastes its top-rank cast - Hayworth is still playing Gilda - and was shot in Britain on a tiny budget by producers "Cubby" Broccoli and Irving Allen.

Summary

Felix and Tony run a tramp steamer together in the West Indies, but their seemingly unshakeable friendship is tossed aside when they both fall in love with the same woman. Tony tries to undermine his rival by exposing his illegal activities, while Felix responds with deadly intent. Romantic drama, with Rita Hayworth, Robert Mitchum and Jack Lemmon.
