Our Score
It's hard to know what's worse in Dennis Dugan's comedy: Adam Sandler's lazy attempt to impersonate a woman or Al Pacino - playing himself - having to fall in love with the aforementioned creature. Pacino at least gets to have a bit of fun sending up his own super-serious image, but Sandler's performance has no saving graces and this truly dire effort marks a new low in his career. The ramshackle plot has Sandler as a successful LA advertising executive who is dreading the holiday arrival of his twin sister (Sandler again), a loud and obnoxious single woman from New Jersey. However, the visit takes an unexpected turn when Pacino - whom Sandler desperately needs to sign up for a Dunkin' Donuts commercial - falls for his sister. As well as Pacino, the film boasts minor cameo turns from the likes of Johnny Depp, John McEnroe and Shaquille O'Neal, while Katie Holmes looks faintly embarrassed as Sandler's long-suffering wife. But all the star power in the world can't save this sorry excuse for a comedy.

A successful advertising executive dreads the annual visit from his annoying twin sister, who this time refuses to leave. He fears she will ruin his chances of persuading Al Pacino to appear in a commercial, only for the Hollywood star to become smitten with the unwanted guest. Comedy, starring Adam Sandler in a dual role, with Katie Holmes and Pacino as himself.
