Our Score
If you can't get enough of living-dead bloodbaths after the 2004 release of Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead and Resident Evil: Apocalypse, here's another flesh-eater flick to spill onto the big screen. But if it's a kick-ass zombie movie you want, then forget this cartoonish, techno-driven splatter spectacular based on a bestselling Sega video game. Packed to the blood-soaked brim with naked babes, manic martial arts and slashing swords, this tedious tale is all about a group of over-sexed teens who arrive on an island for a rave party, only to discover the secluded paradise has been taken over by death-dealing cadavers. Taking refuge in an old dark house, they must use all their wits and any available weapon to survive the night and the relentless undead onslaught. George A Romero's original template has now worn pretty thin so you'll either love this repetitive gore-fest for its unpretentious dumbness or hate it for being nothing more than a shameless plug for the game.

Summary

Fun-loving teenagers arriving for a rave on a small, isolated island soon realise something is wrong - but nothing can prepare them for a manic attack by a horde of ravenous zombies. Uwe Boll's horror inspired by the video game of the same name, starring Jonathan Cherry, Tyron Leitso and Clint Howard.
