Our Score
In this comedy western, Audie Murphy and Sandra Dee play a couple of innocents from the mountains who find themselves out of their depth in an unruly town. The film is nicely shot in CinemaScope, which lends this Universal co-feature a scale that makes it seem more expensive than it obviously is. Also on hand are tough and sexy Joanne Dru, whose experience of character roles in John Ford and Howard Hawks westerns is put to good use here, and the always watchable Gilbert Roland. It's not one of Murphy's best efforts, but not unwatchable and agreeably short.

They leave their mountain home for a nearby town, but find their first taste of city living harder to cope with than expected, especially when they fall foul of a crooked sheriff.
