Review

Our Score
In this neat and energetic British-made film, which plays upon the 1950s anxiety regarding nuclear physics, the son of a scientist working at an atomic research plant invents radioactive popcorn. Margaret Thompson directs this quaintly backward look at the nuclear age, while Mona Washbourne heads a cast of otherwise unfamiliar names. Don Sharp, who wrote the original story, had a prolific career as director, screenwriter and occasional producer.
