Our Score
Old-fashioned yarn with Nigel Patrick on the lam with a priceless diamond and Hollywood hunk Jack Palance as the private eye in hot pursuit. Made by Albert R "Cubby" Broccoli's company, Warwick, it dashes from one eye-catching European capital to the next, picking up the statuesque Anita Ekberg en route. (She, in her way, is as unreal-looking as Palance.) With Anthony Newley as a Spanish cabby, Donald Pleasence as an organ grinder and Sid James as an American plain clothes cop, the cast alone makes this worth watching, even if the plot is as old as the hills.

A detective goes in search of an English bookkeeper who has stolen a rare diamond, but finds he is not the only one on his trail. Crime drama, with Jack Palance and Anita Ekberg.
