Our Score
As with the original Urban Legend, this sequel doesn't deliver the promise of its premise. The first film maintained the storyline about a serial killer murdering in the style of notorious folk-myths until about the half-way mark: here it's effectively ditched after the first few minutes, which feature the gremlin on the airplane wing, the psycho on the flight-deck, human-organ thieves and snuff movies. Then it turns into son-of-Scream, complete with movie in-jokes, as the serial slayer slices and dices his way through the students at a film school. It's slickly made and adequately performed by a young cast, patently chosen as much for their looks as for their talent. But, like the first film, it underachieves, particularly in the scare department.

A student film-maker struggles to complete her thesis when the cast and crew fall victim to a sinister killer determined to create his own nightmarish legacy. Horror sequel, starring Jennifer Morrison, Matthew Davis, Hart Bochner and Joey Lawrence.
