After the success of
If You Meet Sartana, Pray for Your Death
, Gianni Garko and Klaus Kinski were reteamed the following year for this unremarkable sequel. Sticking pretty closely to the trusted spaghetti western recipe, it follows the unflinching gunfighter as he tries to discover who's behind a series of vicious bank robberies. Whereas Gianfranco Parolini kept the action swift and simple in the original picture, director Giuliano Carmineo (hiding behind the pseudonym Anthony Ascott) is prepared to allow it to meander and rarely rouses his stars from their lethargy.
Summary
Bounty hunter Sartana is falsely accused of robbing a bank when an imposter uses his trademark cloak and must find the real culprits so he can clear his name. Spaghetti Western, starring Gianni Garko, Gordon Mitchell and Klaus Kinski.
