The Hunter's Prayer

This killer-with-a-conscience yarn sees Sam Worthington's junkie assassin dragging his teenage target (Odeya Rush) across Europe with a gaggle of hitmen in hot pursuit. Director Jonathan Mostow (U-571, Terminator 3) delivers plenty of slick gunplay and crunching combat, and it all builds to a fierce finale in the bowels of an English country house. Despite feeling vaguely sub-Bourne in its execution, the film features a surprisingly nuanced performance from Worthington as the troubled killer, while Downton Abbey's Allen Leech is eminently hissable as the corporate slimeball behind the mayhem.
