Boxing drama starring Johnny Harris. Having hit rock bottom and with his life ruined by booze, fighter Jimmy McCabe returns to the gym of his youth to prepare for a fight that he hopes will restore his reputation. But the biggest battle Jimmy faces is with his own demons.
An honest look at a well-worn subject, this drama charts the fight back to sobriety of boxer Jimmy McCabe (Johnny Harris). The former champ is forced to reassess his future after yet again reaching rock bottom, deciding to return to the familiar security of his old gym. But, somewhat inevitably, our hero must prove himself worthy with one last fight. Tat Radcliffe's camerawork is dynamic, but the movie suffers from predictability and a less than riveting performance by the usually magnetic Harris (Welcome to the Punch, who's outshone by supporting players Ray Winstone, Ian McShane and Michael Smiley.
