Our Score
Dirk Bogarde dons some serious checked shirts and sets out to prove that he can stand up to mean Stanley Baker, who is out to swipe his land, in this unconvincing adventure set in Canada. There is some stunning location photography and a reliable British supporting cast, but director Ralph Thomas looks a little out of his depth in this genre.

A man who has only six months to live returns to the land his family owns in the Canadian Rockies. He intends to prove his grandfather's frequently derided theory that there is oil to be found there, but he has little time to find it, as the area will be flooded when construction is completed on a nearby dam. Adventure, with Dirk Bogarde, Stanley Baker, Michael Craig and Barbara Murray.
