A play from the 1930s was dug up to provide the basis for this army comedy, which pokes fun at American producers coming to Britain to make cheap science-fiction movies. The film is chiefly of interest today because of the amount of radio talent involved. Brian Reece, who had just finished a long run as PC49, stars, and up-and-coming Peter Sellers and Tony Hancock lend support, while even Eric Sykes was brought in to pep up the corny old script.
Summary
A military officer resents a film crew shooting on his barracks, so persuades them to use a haunted house as a location instead. Comedy, starring Brian Reece and Margot Grahame.
