Rating: 2 out of 5.

Sadistic teen killers meet their match when they terrorise Abigail Breslin's blue-eyed blonde in this disappointing thriller. The quartet, a sort of serial-killing version of the Riot Club, have a thing for hunting blondes in a nearby forest but unfortunately for them, their latest "victim" (Breslin) has been trained since childhood to be an instrument of vengeance for mystery man Wes Bentley. And that's about it. It looks sharp (debuting director Tyler Shields is a photographer, after all), the cast is capable but this turning-of-the-tables tale is too mysterious for its own good, and even though Breslin is a striking presence, she's just not kick-ass enough to rival the heroines of similar fare like Hanna or Nikita.
