Animated comedy featuring the voice of Noah Schnapp. When the "red-haired girl" moves into his neighbourhood, hapless Charlie Brown is determined to win her heart. Meanwhile, his dog Snoopy uses Charlie's misfortune as inspiration for his novel about a First World War flying ace's fight against the Red Baron.
Sixty-five years after cartoonist Charles M Schulz first created the Peanuts pack, and 35 years since the last feature release, Charlie Brown and the gang returned with this charming computer-generated animation. There's a plot of sorts, which has Charlie bidding to woo the town's new "red-haired girl". But it's really just a framework for some classic and lovingly rendered Peanuts scenarios, with luckless Charlie as the "face of failure", Lucy as the queen of crabbiness, and Snoopy as the supreme fantasist, imagining he's a World War One flying ace. Adults will wallow in the nostalgia, and kids will love it, too.
