Review

Our Score
In this thrilling instalment of the motor-mayhem franchise, Dominic (Vin Diesel) seems to have betrayed those closest to him by joining forces with cyber-terrorist Cipher (Charlize Theron). She has a hold over him and it's up to his friends (Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson) to foil her plans. A nonstop blast of kinetic energy from the opening car race in Cuba to the Arctic finish, Fast & Furious 8 offers rip-roaring action, a captivating Bond-style plot and tongue-in-cheek smarts. The giant wrecking ball cutting a swathe through a fleet of cars and the auto-avalanche chase through Manhattan are worth tuning in for alone, with Johnson and Jason Statham's anti-bromance the stuff of classic buddy movies.

Summary

Street racing criminal Dominic Toretto is drawn out of retirement by an encounter with a ruthless cyberterrorist, who recruits him for an international criminal scheme. As he sets out to steal the technology she needs to unleash chaos on the world, he is drawn into conflict with both old enemies and his former gang. Action adventure sequel, starring Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, Dwayne Johnson and Kurt Russell.
