Review

Our Score
Cult director Roger Corman's snappily paced action adventure bears a striking similarity to The Dirty Dozen, but lacks the powerhouse cast. British Intelligence officer Stewart Granger leads five hardened criminals into Dubrovnik during the Second World War to rescue an Italian general from the Nazis. Although cheaply produced, the veteran cast (including 77 Sunset Strip's Edd "Kookie" Byrnes) wrings every ounce of conviction from a routine script.

Summary

Five criminals are trained by British intelligence to become crack military fighters and sent behind enemy lines in Yugoslavia. Second World War adventure, starring Stewart Granger, Mickey Rooney, Raf Vallone and Edd Byrnes.
