Our Score
This is an implausible but ingenious British thriller devised by David Pursall and Jack Seddon, and flashily directed by Basil Dearden. In it, a hooded man forces a dentist to drug a shipping executive during an appointment so that he will reveal the combination of his company's strongroom. It remains watchable thanks to some skilful characterisation and the strong performances of Stewart Granger as the executive, Norman Bird as the dentist, and Bernard Lee as the dogged, chain-smoking policeman looking forward to retirement.

Summary

Tense thriller, starring Stewart Granger as an executive who turns detective to prove he didn't steal from his company. With Hugh Burden and Bernard Lee.
