Don't Talk to Strange Men

Our Score
This worthy little feature with a social message is more interesting now for its depiction of early 1960s Britain. But director Pat Jackson's thriller still has relevance today. Christina Gregg is the young girl in trouble after disobeying the instruction of the title, and Gillian Lind and Cyril Raymond (the husband in Brief Encounter) are her very middle-class parents. Watch out for Dandy Nichols in a supporting role.

A woman unwittingly jeopardises the life of her beloved sister by striking up a friendship with a seemingly innocuous man who soon proves to be a sadistic mania on the prowl for his next victim. Thriller, starring Christina Gregg and Janina Faye.
