Comedy starring Milly and Becky Rosso. Elle Woods's fashion-conscious cousins, Annie and Izzy, move to California from the UK, but find it hard to fit in at Elle's old school, Pacific Prep. When they are framed for stealing, they must use their brains as well as their beauty and charm to clear their names.
Two pink-obsessed, British teens make charmless heroines in this horribly substandard spin-off from the popular Reese Witherspoon comedies. It's like kids' TV at its worst, as stiff-acting English twins Milly and Becky Rosso fall as flat as the film's pathetic jokes after their empty characters (cousins of Witherspoon's Elle Woods) move to LA and are targeted by the resident mean girl (Brittany Curran) at their new private school. Undiscerning tweens are the obvious target of the shallow, consumerist messages hammered home in a stream of boring montage scenes, while recycled themes and events from the original Legally Blonde reinforce the staleness of the entire project. Even the supposed meat of the story is lame and dull, requiring one of the largely indistinguishable sisters to save the other from being expelled.
