Review

Made in Canada by writer/director Jorge Montesi, this erotic thriller is packed to the rafters with clichés and contrivances. Yet, you can't quite pull yourself away from watching undercover cop Kate Vernon struggle with her feelings for slippery crook Patrick Bergin. Does she follow her heart, or turn him in along with the $6 million that he has stashed away? Every trick is thrown into the mix to keep the plot twisting along and Vernon gives a gutsy performance, but Bergin lacks the menace he brought to Sleeping with the Enemy.
