Our Score
A British programme-filler about a man (Patrick Barr) who, crippled in a riding accident and discovering that he has only a short time left to live, devotes himself to ensuring the security and happiness of his wife and daughter (Avis Scott, Eunice Gayson). His concern becomes obsessive to the point where he encourages his wife's so-far only friendly and affectionate relationship with another man. A non-starry but well-played little drama, claustrophobic, certainly not uninteresting, but not quite good enough.

In this melodrama, a man is permanently crippled in a horseback riding accident and then learns that he will soon die. He spends his last few days taking care of his family and trying to get his wife to find another man.
