Our Score
Even by pulp horror standards, Fragile is dismal - a cobbled-together shocker that begins with a huge train crash on, of all places, the Isle of Wight. As the authorities struggle to cope with the casualties, a children's hospital is given a respite from closure. It is, of course, a terrifying gothic institution with an entire blocked-off wing where something awful once happened. But nurse Calista Flockhart doesn't seem to notice that much is wrong, not even when her young charges talk of a mysterious "mechanical girl" who doesn't want them to leave. Ever. Bones start breaking in the dead of night and Amy discovers that a local urban legend has its roots in a disturbing reality. But even within the loose boundaries of nightmare logic, this nonsensical effort from the co-director of [Rec] is more silly than scary, leaving the poor, miscast Flockhart to carry the whole sorry mess on her shoulders.

Summary

A nurse is assigned to look after the last patients at a children's hospital that is closing down, before they are transferred to another institution. However, she learns that something evil is lurking in the wards, and it does not want the children to leave. Horror, starring Calista Flockhart and Richard Roxburgh.
