Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

On a plane to New York, Richard Attenborough accuses a fellow passenger of killing his daughter in a hit-and-run accident. When Captain Stanley Baker investigates, it emerges that Attenborough has planted a bomb on board. Cue general hysteria. Despite the other flyers' inevitable mini-dramas - David Kossoff's Holocaust survivor, for instance - this is a star turn for Attenborough, who brings a convincing complexity to the role of bomber and bereft father. The film's constant moralising and eventual payoff are hard to swallow, however.
