Our Score
Perky pop star Tommy Steele, a former seaman himself, plays the part of a sailor in this lively and likeable musical comedy. The film concerns Steele's adventures after he saves the life of a bullfighter while on shore leave in Spain. Comic consequences include Tommy having to take the toreador's place and confronting a ferocious bull in the ring. The amusing events (concocted by five different writers) are interspersed with a nicely varied collection of songs, including the novelty hit Little White Bull, and ill-fated Janet Munro (she died at the age of 38) makes a pert heroine.

A seaman swaps places with a famous bullfighter in Seville, only to inadvertently get involved in a smuggling operation. Comedy, starring Tommy Steele and Sid James.
